Healthcare Industry Association

The Healthcare Industry Association (HCIA) is committed to expanding opportunities outside of the classroom for Columbia Business School MBA students to learn about the many segments of the industry. Through a variety of activities - run in close collaboration with the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program - the club offers members the chance to enhance their professional networks, increase awareness of the diverse career paths in healthcare, and access internships and full-time opportunities.

Important club activities include:

• Mentoring breakfasts and Speaker Events featuring senior healthcare practitioners, many of whom are CBS alumni

• Annual Healthcare Conference focused on topics that will define the future of the industry

• Roundtables led by Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program Director Cliff Cramer and industry guests. Students raise and discuss the implications of recent developments, news and controversies in the industry.
